There are many aspects to a PH.D. degree. You need to polish your ability to speak, to write and to present (or sell) in both Chinese and English.
In particular, it is imperative for you to make sure that your TOEFL is at least 600 (or 250 in the computer test) before graduation. This is just a reminder.
